recognizes the need to intervene in a crisis situation involving its
students where there is evidence of self-destructive behavior or
evidence of behavior which may be dangerous to the student or those
around them.

AFFIRM Team (Student Assistance Program) is an intervention program
which attempts to work with high-risk students who are
identified and referred to appropriate resources for help with
his/her problem.

- AFFIRM
is a helping mechanism designed to work in conjunction with the
school’s counseling program and/or disciplinary program.
