Cardinal John Krol blessed and dedicated Archbishop Carroll High School on April 28, 1968, a 55-acre campus on the historic Main Line area of Philadelphia. The Sisters of St. Joseph, diocesan priests and lay faculty stood ready to prepare to educate countless young women and men who continue to go forth, making a difference beyond the walls of Carroll. As we mark our 50th anniversary in 2017-18, Carroll remains committed to excellence in the areas of spiritual, academic and social development.

During his homily, he said, “We are asking the Holy Spirit to be with us strongly during the academic year. One of the things I hope we learn in our Catholic schools is to love the right things.” Read more
