Mr. Daniel Keehn named Assistant Principal for Student Services
Archbishop John Carroll High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Keehn as Assistant Principal for Student Services.
A four-year faculty member at Carroll, Mr. Keehn will be responsible for the safety and security of everyone in the school; attendance, and discipline; organizing and running safety and security drills; he will oversee the school nurse and student medical issues, and will supervise the Guidance Office and student socio-emotional counseling matters.
Our Discipline Code, which has as its basic purpose the teaching of responsibility to God, self and others, is where Mr. Keehn’s experience as teacher and coach will be most valued by students and teachers.
Maintaining and implementing the school code is the responsibility of every member of the Carroll community. It is a collaborative effort that requires teachers and students alike to reinforce the ideals of the code. We are confident that, under Mr. Keehn’s leadership, through their behavior, students will encourage each other to live by the code with pride.
During his tenure at Carroll, Mr. Keehn has been head of the Health and Physical Education Department and has coached baseball and ice hockey.
Mr. Keehn graduated from West Chester University in West Chester, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Health and Physical Education. He has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification from Holy Family University in Philadelphia. Mr. Keehn succeeds Mr. William Gennaro who is Carroll’s new Assistant Principal for Academic Services.
