Freshman Year:  Genres Study

        Essay

Sophomore Year:  Survey of American Literature
        Colonial Period  to early 20th century

Junior Year:  Survey of British Literature
        Anglo-Saxon Period to early 20th century

Senior Year:  World Literature
        Epics from Sumerian and Greek Cultures
        Short Stories &
         Poetry of Western European Countries
          (different centuries)

One shakespearean tradegy is part of the curriculum 
each year:
        Romeo & Juliet
        Julius Caesar
        MacBeth
        Hamlet

COURSE SELECTIONS

Freshman & Sophomore courses are offered in three track levels:
Honors (track 1)
Above Average (track 2)
Average (track 3)

Junior & Senior courses are offered in four track levels:
AP (Advanced Placement)
Honors (track 1)
Above Average (track 2)
Average (track 3)
