Introduction
Archbishop John Carroll is a four-year secondary school located on the historic Main Line area of Philadelphia on a 55-acre campus in Radnor, Penn. As a secondary school of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Carroll’s staff is composed of the religious sisters: Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Sisters of Saint Joseph, diocesan priests and a lay faculty of men and women.
Facilities
Archbishop John Carroll High School utilizes a modern campus consisting of a state of the art library containing both print and electronic resources, art center, networked computer centers, music rooms for both large group and individual instruction, seminar and conference rooms, auditorium, two cafeterias, two gymnasiums and student chapel.
Ample playing fields consisting of football, baseball, soccer, field hockey, softball, lacrosse and four modern tennis courts are available to all students. Additional facilities include science labs, drama and theatre center, TV studio and a weight room.
Student Body
Students of every race, color and national origin are admitted and granted the rights, privileges, programs, and activities accorded or made available to students at this school. Non-Catholic students are welcome but must follow the regular course of instruction in theology and participate in scheduled religious activities.
