Goals and Objectives:
- The cross country program provides students with an opportunity to compete against some of the most accomplished teams in the area at Philadelphia’s storied Belmont Plateau cross country course.
- Carroll’s cross country program has developed some of the best runners in the Philadelphia area in recent years while maintaining a nurturing atmosphere that brings each runner along according to age and ability.
- Through participation students will be taught discipline, build physical fitness and learn to push themselves to new levels in a fun, close knit atmosphere where connections between their Christian beliefs and the unique challenges of their sport are illustrated.
Practices Days and Time:
Begins in mid-August and continue through the end of October (participants are strongly encouraged to begin running on their own during the preceding summer months).
Practices run from 5:00 to 7:15 before school begins and 3:00 to 5:15 once school starts.
