“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you.” Jeremiah 1:5
Our Catholic faith tells us that all human life is sacred and precious from conception to natural death.
The Respect Life Club exists in order to raise awareness among the Carroll community of knowing and supporting the Pro-Life Gospel message, of respecting life in the environment, and by working to defeat the culture of death endorsed and accepted in our society. Its mission is also to uphold the dignity of all human life. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, our Respect Life students and alumni are involved and are taught to be leaders in promoting the culture of life. We share this message by praying peacefully on Saturday mornings at abortion clinics, by promoting the virtue of chastity, by organizing baby item drives to Birthright during the Christmas & Easter season, by participating annually at the March for Life in Washington DC, by seeing & hearing Pro-Life speakers throughout the year, etc.
The Respect Life Club meets every Friday immediately after school. Every other week, the Pro-Life group meets in the chapel to pray for an end to abortion by praying the rosary and talking about current events taking place in our country.
