USLI, one of America’s leading companies for underwriting insurance for small businesses and a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies, has made a $300,000 gift to Archbishop John Carroll High School.
“This makes $1.7 million generously given by USLI to Carroll since 2013,” said Archbishop John Carroll High School President Francis E. Fox. “These gifts financially support our students with tuition assistance who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend Carroll. We are extremely grateful to USLI for its continued support of our students and the school.”
The donation was presented by USLI’s Suzanne Gennaro, a 2010 graduate of Carroll. It was made through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program, which provides tax credits to eligible businesses contributing to a scholarship organization, an educational improvement organization and/or a Pre-Kindergarten scholarship organization.
USLI is based in Wayne, Penn.
