Please join us on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 5:50pm to celebrate Jack McQuaid and his 100th wrestling win! We will honor Jack in the West Gym.
In one of the most remarkable accomplishments by a student-athlete in the more than 50-year history of Archbishop John Carroll High School, wrestler Jack McQuaid earned his 100th match victory on Saturday, Feb. 16, when he pinned an opponent from Father Judge High School during a match at St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia.
“We are extremely proud of Jack’s accomplishment of 100 wins,” said Carroll Athletic Director Thomas Quintois. “This is a monumental achievement for Jack and will be recognized in our gym for a lifetime. On behalf of the Archbishop Carroll community, we thank Jack and his family for his years of dedication and passion to our school and the sport of wrestling.”
“Jack McQuaid was born to wrestle,” said Carroll President Francis E. Fox. “His natural abilities combined with his determination and discipline for the sport has made him one of Carroll’s all-time great wrestlers. The school could not be prouder of Jack’s 100th victory accomplishment.”
