Archbishop John Carroll High School has looked to one of its own to lead its advancement efforts.

Nora McGeever ’11, has transitioned from Alumni Relations Manager to Director of Advancement, effective Apr. 1.  The 2015 Saint Joseph’s University graduate joined Carroll’s Alumni office in 2017.  She is also an assistant girls’ basketball coach.

Carroll’s Advancement team helps to raise funds to provide tuition assistance, capital improvements to the school facility and to support the everyday needs of the school.

“The selection of Ms. McGeever to Director of Advancement stabilizes a critically important department at Carroll,” said Carroll President Francis E. Fox ‘77.  “Nora’s experience in Alumni Relations and Advancement combined with her tireless work ethic and love for our school as an alumna makes her the ideal choice for this position. Our board, together with the entire Carroll community, is truly excited to see Nora’s rise within our ranks.”

During her tenure as Alumni Relations Manager, McGeever worked on the Carroll Alumni Success series of videos, online Alumni Spotlights, the CARROLL50 celebration and was a key member of the team that worked on the Archbishop John Carroll High School Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.

“I am so grateful for this opportunity and thrilled to continue my career at my alma mater,” McGeever said.  “Carroll is a special place and I feel very blessed to be a part of the ‘Carroll Cares’ community. Thank you to President Fox, Jim Quinlan, the Board of Directors and all of my colleagues for their continued guidance and support.”

“I am excited to work with Nora as a Carroll alum leads the Institutional Advancement team,” Quinlan said.
