I write to share a reminder about night two of the “Resurrection & Restoration: An Online Video Retreat for the Easter Season.” The series is part of “Arise: Restoring Catholic Life After the Pandemic,” an initiative of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia designed to invigorate parish life after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted (archphila.org/arise).
The seven part series, which kicked off last night, breaks open the mystery of the Resurrection of Jesus and his power to bring us new life in the midst of the pandemic. It is also designed to help transition back into in-person life in the Church as COVID-19 restrictions slowly lift.
Night two of the series aired yesterday at 7:00 p.m. At that time, 15-minute videos available in English, Spanish and American Sign Language translations will be posted to Archbishop Pérez’s Facebook page. The installments will also be posted to the Arise: Restoring Catholic Life after the Pandemic webpage, Vimeo, and CatholicPhilly.com, the official digital news agency of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. If you missed night one, you can watch it at your convenience because all of the videos will remain archived on all platforms after they are posted.
Please see the attached flyers available in English and Spanish for more information. To learn more about “Arise: Restoring Catholic Life After the Pandemic,” please visit http://archphila.org/arise. Kindly consider sharing this material broadly with others. Thank you.
