Rooted in Catholic faith, Archbishop John Carroll High School inspires young men and women to lead, serve, and contribute to the global community. Founded in 1967, Archbishop John Carroll High School is a Catholic, coeducational, college preparatory high school accredited by Middle States and affiliated with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. We boast a stunning 55-acre hilltop campus along Main Line Radnor, Pennsylvania.

A community of faith and academic collaboration, Carroll is home to 675 intrinsically diverse students who all share one similar perspective: for them, Carroll is the place to be. Carroll is the high school choice for students hailing from 89 zip codes across the Philadelphia metropolitan-area, and because of this we value the diverse nature of our school community. This diversity creates a unique and dynamic learning environment that fosters a greater appreciation of not only students’ individual differences, but then also highlights the values shared.

Sacraments

Here at Archbishop Carroll, we are very fortunate to have frequent exposure to the graces of the Sacraments. We have weekly morning Mass, celebrated in the Chapel on Tuesday mornings at 7:10 am with Father McCaffery. We also have the Sacrament of Reconciliation offered during the lunch periods on Tuesdays. In addition, we have three (3) school-wide Penance services offered at the beginning of the school year, Advent, and Lent in which several visiting priests assist to ensure that every student that wishes to receive this Sacrament has the ability to do so.

Having the opportunity to receive the abundant graces in the Holy Sacraments during the school year, and in conjunction with the activities of the school day is truly a blessing. The ability of students and faculty to receive the Holy Eucharist makes our entire community stronger and grow closer to God.
