College Advising & Counseling
The Guidance Department at Carroll consists of a number of counselors that support the students in multiple ways: social-emotional, academic, college prep & NCAA compliance. We begin meeting with students in freshman year and get them acquainted with all the platforms they will need during their time at Carroll and will use in the college process, such as Naviance & CollegeBoard. We are here to help students have a successful high school experience and empower them to take an active role in their own personal & educational journey. Our office operates on an open door policy – students are welcome to drop by at any time with any concerns they may have. Our counselors take an active role in getting to know each and every Carroll student. Students will have 2 counselors during their time at Carroll, one for freshmen & sophomore year and one for junior & senior year – this way, there is always someone in Guidance who will know you. We will challenge our students to do the best they can by keeping track of their academic progress on a quarterly basis and encourage them to be involved in the extracurricular activities Carroll has to offer.
