Our Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated individuals who believe in Catholic education and advance the mission of Archbishop Carroll every day. Click on each member's name to learn more about them.
 
The Board of Directors for the 2023-24 school year are:
Jane is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1976 and is the current Board Chair for the Archbishop Carroll Board of Directors. Jane’s Carroll roots run deep, meeting her husband at Carroll on a Senior year blind date. She is devoted to assisting nonprofit organizations in strategic planning, fundraising, and building strong teams through talent transformation and board development. She has more than two decades of experience spearheading dozens of initiatives for nonprofits. Jane currently owns her own business, JMM Consulting LLC, and is the Panel Coordinator of the McNulty Institute Women’s Leadership Certificate Development Program at Villanova University. Prior to her work in consulting, Jane attended Villanova University, graduating with a Bachelors of Nursing, and spent 20 years at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as a Nursing Leader and Pediatric Critical Care Nurse.

She and her husband, Hank '76, live in Valley Forge and have two sons.
Kevin is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1978. He is the current Vice Chair of the Archbishop Carroll Board of Directors and the Chair of the Marketing and Enrollment Committee. He is one of seven children, five of which, attended Archbishop Carroll, and is an original member of the Archbishop Carroll Advisory Board, which was formed in1992. He was recently inducted into the Class of 2023 Archbishop Carroll Hall of Fame. In 1998, Kevin was promoted to a senior leadership role at PLANCO, an annuity distribution company, where he started working in the mailroom in 1981. He is currently the owner of Connor Consulting Group and the co-President of Financial Distributors Group. With over 40 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, Kevin focuses on the sales and marketing of investment products to the retail financial advisor community.

Kevin and his wife, Gail, live in Wayne and have two children.
Stephen is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1977 and the current Archbishop Carroll Board of Directors Secretary. He founded The Bernova Group, an independent business and technology consultancy, and is a strategic advisor for ASMGi. His previous work experience includes serving as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Villanova University. He also chaired the university’s Strategic Planning and Information Technology Committees and taught in the Villanova School of Business MBA Program. In addition, his work experience includes serving in many executive leadership roles at CIGNA and on many corporate and nonprofit Boards. Steve is a graduate of Villanova University School of Business.

Currently, he and his wife, Diane, reside in Malvern, and they have two children.
Father Bill is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1977. He is one of eight children who attend Archbishop Carroll High School. At Carroll, Fr. Bill was on the track team and part of multiple honor societies. Prior to joining the seminary in 1988, he was a CPA and worked for an international accounting firm. After being ordained 1994, Fr. Bill served as a parochial vicar and a high school theology teacher before being sent to Rome for further religious studies. He then was assigned to being a professor and formator of seminarians at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary for over nine years. Fr. Bill holds many educational degrees inclusive of Bachelor degrees in Accounting and Philosophy from St. Joseph’s University, a Licentiate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the Pontifical University of Santa Croce in Rome.

Currently, he is the pastor of St. John Vianney Parish in Gladwyne.
Joe is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1977 and is currently the Finance Committee Chair for the Archbishop Carroll Board of Directors. He is one of the original members of the Archbishop Carroll Advisory Board, which was formed in 1992. Joe is also a 2022 Archbishop Carroll Hall of Fame Inductee. Joe is a retired partner of Morris Capital Advisors, where he worked for fifteen years managing large capital growth portfolios. He attended George Washington University for his undergraduate education, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Economics, then attending the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania earning an MBA in Finance.
 
Now, aside from his continued support of Archbishop Carroll, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, four daughters, and three grandchildren. 
Kaci is one of the newly elected members of Archbishop Carroll Board Directors and is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1990. She is also the proud parent of a 2021 Carroll graduate who is currently attending Howard University, studying business marketing and playing Division I football. Kaci currently serves as an adjunct faculty for multiple Philadelphia universities. In addition, she is the Race Equity Facilitator for the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Center and also trains social workers for the state. She has extensive experience in child and family therapy and working with many advisory boards and councils, specifically in education. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Lincoln University and is a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Kaci also holds a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a current Ed.D candidate at Gwynedd Mercy University.

She resides in the East Falls area of Philadelphia and is a proud Diamond life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Brian Fogarty is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1978 and is one of the original members of the Archbishop Carroll Advisory Board formed in 1992. He is a Senior Director of Finance for PaperWorks Industries Inc. and has worked in finance and accounting for over 41 years holding many Controller or Director level positions in industry manufacturing. Brian is also currently serving on the Board of Trustees for Waldron Mercy Academy and is its Audit Committee Chair, as well for Saint Matthias Parish Pastoral Council and Finance Committee. Brian has a Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA-Corporate Finance from Saint Joseph’s University.  

Brian and his wife Kim reside in Bala Cynwyd and have three children and a new son-in-law.
Michael is one of the newly elected members of the Archbishop Carroll Board of Directors. He is the proud parent of three Carroll graduates ('16, '17, '19) and one current Carroll junior, who is a Neumann Scholar. Michael was commissioned as a Naval Officer in the Civil Engineer Corps in 1994, serving five years of active duty, leading two deployments to the Persian Gulf and Antarctica, followed by serving as a reservist for another seven years. All three of his older sons have followed in his footsteps working for the Navy; both in the civilian sector, as well as naval officers. He is currently a Year 5 Candidate in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Diaconate Formation and the Deputy Director of the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center, prior to which he held several positions in other areas of civil service and higher education. Mike is graduate of Villanova University and George Washington University where he received degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Masters of Engineering Management, respectively.

He currently lives with his wife, Kathleen, in Drexel Hill. 
John is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1976. He the former is Chairman of the Archbishop Carroll High School Board of Directors and served on its predecessor Advisory Board formed in 1992. He is currently Counsel to Ference and Associates Intellectual Property Lawyers. In addition to being a Registered Patent Attorney and a former project, design, and manufacturing engineer, John has extensive Board experience on both corporate and educational boards, has represented numerous clients in a variety of business and litigation matters, and has been a speaker, presenter, or panelist at conferences domestically as well as internationally. John’s undergraduate engineering degree is from Drexel University, and he earned his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law, with advanced studies in intellectual property law at the George Washington University National Law Center.

John and his wife, Lisa, reside in Wayne with their two daughters.
DeVon is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1996. During his time at Carroll, DeVon served as the president of the Multicultural Affairs Club. He has recently returned to Carroll to lead diversity training for faculty for in-service days.  Currently, DeVon is the Director of Equity, Justice, & Belonging at the Westtown School. He is also the founder of CHānj Consulting, a company that hosts workshops and facilitates discussions to help build community in both the corporate sector and educational institutions to promote its mission of “social change through education and awareness.” DeVon has also spoken at many local and national level conferences, specifically the National Conference on Race & Ethnicity. He received his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Villanova University, and is a current doctoral candidate at St. Joseph’s University.

He resides in West Chester with his wife and three children. 
Chuck is an Archbishop Carroll alum of the Class of 1982. He proud member for the 1981 Soccer and 1982 Baseball PCL Championship teams, serving as team captain for both, earning the Scholar Athlete award at graduation. Chuck is a senior partner with FPA Wealth Management. Prior to this, he started his own business in financial planning and is also a former CPA, working at several large accounting firms. In addition, Chuck is very proud of his community and volunteer work, especially with Goodworks Inc. He achieved a Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Scranton and MBA from Penn State University.

Chuck and his wife, Alex, reside in Downingtown with their son, two dogs, and horse.
Joe is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1976, along with his Carroll high school sweetheart, Patti; a Carroll couple of 40 years. Currently, he is the Executive Vice President for the Commercial Real Estate Division of Univest. He has worked in banking for over 40 years, holding many senior leadership and vice president roles with major accomplishments in customer relationships, generating new business, and strategic planning. In addition to his professional career, Joe is involved many other boards and foundations, in particular Fiends Association and Hope Partnership Education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University.

Joe and Patti currently live in Malvern and they have three children. 
Mick is one of the newly elected members of Archbishop Carroll Board of Directors and will begin serving as the Facilities Committee Chair. He is the proud part of a current Carroll freshman. Currently, Mick is the Director of Finance for Creative Benefits Inc., a family-owned benefits consulting group. Prior to working at Creative Benefits, Mick's career in athletic administration spanned over 20 years, working at many of Philadelphia's top universities and colleges. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lafayette College and a Master's degree from West Chester University.

He and his wife, Macee, live in Berwyn and they have with their three children.  
Ed is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 1976. He co-chairs the EITC/OSTC task force the Board of Directors. He is a 2022 Archbishop Carroll Hall of Fame Inductee and is one of nine children who attended Archbishop Carroll High School. Ed is a private real estate developer and help found the Team Hope Friendship Celebration and Prayer Services at St. Norbert’s Parish. Team Hope brings hundreds of people together monthly to celebrate the good in life and worship together. In addition, Ed has extensive knowledge in raising money for Catholic schools and coached CYO sports for over 20 years. He attended the University of Delaware for his undergraduate education and holds a Masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

He and his wife are the proud parents of six children and three (one on the way!) grandchildren. 
Marylou Rodden is an Archbishop Carroll alum of the Class of 1981. In addition to marrying her Carroll high school sweetheart, she is a proud Carroll parent as well, with children graduating in the Classes of 2011 and 2015. She is currently the President at Insurance Claim Services, which provides consulting services in the insurance industry, specifically highlighting client service relationships and marketing best practices. Prior to this role, Mary Lou has over 30 years of professional consultant experience, holding many senior leadership positions in her extensive career. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
 
She and her husband, Tim, reside in Ardmore and have three children.
Dr. Scott has been the President of Archbishop Carroll High School since July 2021. Since arriving, she has become an avid fan of all things related to student life at Carroll, sporting her Carroll red on the sidelines during every athletic season, applauding all of our actors and musicians during school shows, and even participating in some field trips during the school year. In addition, day in and day out, she works tirelessly with all Carroll stakeholders in many different ways to really make Carroll the place to be. And her work is far from over yet. Prior to coming to Carroll, Dr. Scott was the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Grants for the Beau Biden Foundation, working directly with foundations, funders, schools, and youth-serving organizations to implement best practices in child protection policies, procedures and trainings. She also was the Principal of Saint Edmond’s Academy in North Wilmington for eleven years. Her education degrees include a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Educational Instruction, and a Doctorate in School Leadership from the University of Delaware.

She and her husband, Brian, reside in Wilmington and they have two children.
Juliana is an Archbishop Carroll High School alum of the Class of 2007. She has supported the Carroll community through special events like NHS tutor training and faculty professional development days. She also enjoys attending performances of Carroll's music and theater programs. Julie is currently the Associate Director of Tutoring Services at Villanova University, in which she specializes in student support work, directing a staff for 300 peer tutors serving the university’s students in a wide array of academic subjects. She is also a professor in Villanova’s Augustine in Culture Seminar program. Prior to Villanova, she worked at Endicott College in Massachusetts as the Assistant Director of Tutoring Services. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor’s in English from Villanova University and she holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Lesley University.

When not on campus at Carroll or Villanova, Julie can be found spending time with family, including many trips to the library to check out Pete the Cat books to read with her son.
John Zabinski is an Archbishop Carroll alum of the Class of 1981 and is the current Advancement Committee Chair for the Archbishop Carroll Board of Directors. He is also a proud member of the Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School Board of Directors. For over three decades, John has provided advanced level leadership for fundraising in higher education, healthcare, and independent schools where he has held many Senior level and Vice President positions. These institutions include LaSalle University, Valley Forge Military Academy & College, The Episcopal Academy, Sacred Heart Hospital, and Villanova University. John received his Bachelors in Marketing from Villanova University, an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University, and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy from the American College of Financial Services.

John and his wife Anne reside in Paoli, and they have two children.
