A Note from the President
October 2025
Dear Carroll Families and Community,
Archbishop Carroll is more than a school. It’s a spirited community built on faith, excellence, and pride. In the classroom, on the stage, in competition, and through service, Carroll students are inspired to grow in knowledge, character, and faith striving to achieve their fullest potential in all they do.
We are academically competitive with 16 advanced placement classes and honors classes across subject disciplines. We have a variety of unique electives like Project Lead the Way and the Peer Mentoring Inclusion Program, where students with disabilities learn side by side with their peers.
With the opening of the new Connelly Wellness Center, Carroll has instituted a vision of mental health and wellness for all students. This re-imagined space in our building reflects our deep commitment to caring for the whole student: mind, body, and spirit, and providing resources that support their growth both inside and outside of the classroom. The Wellness Center offers a safe and welcoming space where students can access Mental Health & Wellness Support, College Counseling, Spiritual Counseling, Tutoring Services and the PATS Program. Led by our Director of Academic Support, this program equips students with the tools and resources needed to perform at their best in the classroom. Our goal is to empower students to embrace challenges, discover their strengths, and pursue their personal and educational goals with confidence.
Our students lead with passion and purpose, participating in 22 varsity sports and 35 clubs and activities, including Student Council, National Honor Society, Best Buddies, TV Crew, Yearbook, Game Club, and the Community Service Corps. As proud members of the iconic Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) and PIAA, our athletic halls showcase a legacy of excellence, with more than 100 PCL Championship plaques, 50 District 12 titles, and 10 PIAA State Championship trophies lining our walls.
Carroll students come from 89 different zip codes, yet they all share one belief: Carroll is the place to be. We celebrate our diversity and take pride in the unity and spirit that define our community.
With a network of over 16,000 alumni, Carroll’s influence extends far beyond campus. Our graduates remain deeply committed to the school serving as Board members, coaches, committee leaders, and dedicated faculty. In just the past three years, the generosity of our alumni and friends has fueled more than $7.6 million in support for tuition assistance, merit scholarships, academic programs, capital projects, and more. This past year, Carroll has renovated the main athletic gym, locker rooms, scoreboards, and grass fields. Carroll’s most recent initiative, the Multi-Purpose Turf Field, will reach a $1.6 million investment.
As Patriots, we continue to invest in our students, creating a lasting legacy of leadership, service, integrity, and philanthropy. We believe in Carroll, we believe it is the place to be.
Fondly,
Dr. Tricia Scott
